Skirt Something Something - Winter Skirt #2
Driving around Dallas... I love the freedom! It's hard to imagine that next week I will loose my independence to the Mexican bus system, but I don't want to think about that now...
Today's skirt was packed with my other winter skirts (I think there were 3) and I hadn't included these in the original 60, but here is Winter Skirt #2. (I wore Winter Skirt #1, December 31, last year!) It's from the Gap Outlet in Grapevine. I bought it in 2004, same year as my coat. It's a basic black and white tweed skirt. It's A-line, paneled and lined, which is always nice. Gotta keep my girls protected!

Another fun day in Dallas, TX, USA. I went shopping, it's amazing how much I didn't buy, but I did manage to score these cute flats from Payless.
I'm starting the new year off right. I went to a pilates class tonight and worked on the ball. I'd never done that before, and it was much harder than it looked. I'm glad to be getting in shape, it feels good!
Later that night my friend and I caught up over tapas and vino tinto at Cafe Madrid, another one of my old trabajos... I want to take this time to note the delicious flavors that filled my mouth this evening: sauteed spinach, raisins and pine nuts... que rico!
Adina's skirt was so cool, and I wish I had taken a better picture of their loveliness. The crocheted panels inter-mixed with the fabric made for a lovely combination. Not to mention the knit work was of special interest to me, given my new hobby that I've picked up over the winter break.
I ♥ Adina! AND, I ♥ her skirt and cowboy boots!
Cowboy boots and skirts... takes me back to high school days... I should really look into getting a pair while I'm here... Maybe for my birthday...
