Chinatown Chicago

(hello!)

Chicago's Chinatown celebrated Chinese New Year today. It's the Year of the Ox.

I was born in the Year of the Rabbit

"People born in the Year of the Rabbit are articulate, talented, and ambitious. They are virtuous, reserved, and have excellent taste. Rabbit people are admired, trusted, and are often financially lucky."
~nice...

I went shopping in Chinatown for some souvenirs and teaching materials. One store I visited stunk so bad! But they had dried shark fins, sea horses and jellyfish. (See below:)

"No Picture!" they yelled at me.
~sorry...

A view inside the teahouse

as pointed out by David Linneweh.

Another view inside the teahouse...
I went a little crazy in the shops.
