Shorts, not skirt today...

But I'm here and have much to share... mostly what I've been up to, where I've been...
I've been thinking about doing things differently, especially with Skirt Project. There's lots that I want to do and not enough hours in the day, but I'm hoping to incorporate some changes as I go along. So stay tuned and see what happens!

I've worn Skirts 13, 14, and 15; I took some pictures, but I don't feel satisfied with them. It could be the skirts, but I think it's me...
Nonetheless, I think I'll try to wear them again later this week and go for gold. Yup, that's what I'll do... I'll have a "do over," because sometimes we need those in life.

So where have I been?

Fort Worth
Yee-haw y'all!

Can you see the sign below the lights? It says,"Life is too short to live in Dallas."
Sometimes I share these sentiments, but it's not that bad.

I went to see Taylor and her skirt at Art Space 111.

Here she is standing in front of a piece by Mary Benedicto.

Working in Dallas
Skirt 15: Doing what I do best, driving around.

Knitting at work. As they say, "Idle hands are the Devil's tools."
Knit, purl, knit, purl. I'm making a baby pillow.

Liz's Skirt: a very cute pieced eyelet number.

Yvette's skirt: gorgeous, bright, simple embroidery on a sheer gray chiffon.
So prettttyyyyyy!!!!!

I really miss the sun sets in Vallarta, but if I wake up early enough, which I occasionally do from time to time, I can enjoy some gorgeous sun rises at White Rock Lake.

And...
Connecticut
New Haven to be exact. I held some babies, painted a kitchen, held some hands and saw some very special friends.

Skirt 20 is now covered in Chili Pepper, Sweet Butter and Dill Pickle, all by Benjamin Moore.

Gettin Dirrrrrty at the New Haven Community Garrrrrden.

Everything was blooming in CT. The poppies were amazing and so tall! I think this was my first time to see them in person, and I couldn't get enough!

This is my current screen saver on my phone:

I love this funky picture, I don't know how my phone did it, I can't seem to repeat it, but I like it!

Ahhh, the Atlantic...

It was a wonderful trip, a much needed break from the nothingness that I feel that I do all day. It recharged my batteries and I feel that things are about to turn around.
