This time tomorrow I will be bound for Belgium. It's a new adventure, a new chapter for Skirt Project. I'm so busy packing, and it's serious business! How many fall/winter skirts can I pack in my suitcase?
Thanks to my friend Anna for the Stella Artois skirt with a chocolate waistband and Belgian waffle lace!
Watch out Belgium, here we come!

Paper Source
This is where I have been hiding, being productive and working. Paper Source is a fine paper retailer, but that's not all they sell. Custom invitations, embossers, DIY stationery, book making, scrap booking, invitations. I love the rubber stamps, inspiration for the letters above. It's been great working at Paper Source. I love coming into the shop and being among all of the colorful pieces, designs, textures, lovely smells and they play great music too... well, sometimes. I've had all about the Seal I can take for a while.
Paper Source's motto:
"Do something creative everyday."
I can live by that.
It truly is a space that inspires you. I will miss it, as there is no Paper Source in the land I am moving to.
P is for pattern
I have a pattern on my blog now. It's a vintage silk fabric I picked up from Curiosities. Drool, I ♥ gingham! Gingham is such a comforting fabric for me, it always has been. This goes back to the 1970's when little girls poured over a Sears catalogue dreaming of canopy beds with Holly Hobbie, at least I did.
3 reasons I ♥ gingham:
1. I like the checkerboard pattern with subtle variation of the same color depending on the warp and weft yarns.
2. There is no right or wrong side of the fabric.
3. It's simplicity can really add a punch of color to any wardrobe during any season.
Did you know that gingham is a Dutch word... *hint, hint.*
P is for projects
It's been over two years since I started Skirt Project, and it has really evolved. I started with skirts, moved to Mexico, came back to teach Preschool and have recently gotten into more DIY projects. I will post more on those later, but here is a sneak peak of some of the projects I've been working on.
P is for Purse on a Polka dot skirt:
This clutch is made from a vintage hardback book.
P is for plagiarism...
*sort of...
P is for Page of guilty Pleasures:
Mine is Pistacio gelato from Paciugo. One more:
P is for a Page of Phamous Persons
From another Project:
P is for Poetry:
P is for paper
I just love this silver glitter paper from Paper Source.
Which I will Post later today...
P is also for Paris, France.
*hint, hint*
P is for possibilities!
How will P inspire you today?

Update:
I went to the passport office to pick up my passport.
It was a pleasant experience.
From left to right: new Passport, a Petite cupcake, a Pink donut, and finally a Paper cup of peach, mango, orange juice.
Oh, and for lunch I had Pork chops, Potatoes, and a glass of pink lemonade. I did, I really did!
The Rentals: Friends with P. enjoy!

Here's a fun little way to ease my way back into blogging. I've missed it, and every day that goes by, I feel more guilt about not posting. Don't worry, I am not going to go through the entire alphabet, just a few letters this week that are pertinent this time in my life. So, here goes:
