We made a version of ebony masks today, and I wore my yellow pants that I got for $4 at J.Crew.
Conversation with a three-year-old about the mask pictured above.
Me: Who is that?
3-year-old: Mommy.
Me: Awww.
3-year-old: NO! Scary mommy. Mean mommy.
Me: Mean mommy?
(Pause, taking a second look...)
3-year-old: No. It's you!
Me: Me?
3-year-old: Yeah, that's you!
At least his mom will be relieved.
